Update from Beautiful Cleveland, OH

After a main course of doritos dipped in salsa, Izzy had ice cubes for dessert prior to opening her many gifts on Christmas Eve at the Quirarte's. We had a preview of JP's next Christmas and as far as I can tell we can probably wrap just about anything with a 1 and 1/2 year old getting more of a kick out of ripping off the paper than the actual gifts inside.

Mary met her friend's Meghan and Katie for breakfast and Cracker Barrel, and then took advantage of sales at the attached store to pick up a few deals. J.P. looked pretty good in one of her purchases, a Santa outfit.

Flu/Cold Season

The whole family has been battling the flu/cold this past week. As I am writing this Michael and J.P. are both sleeping. Hopefully everyone is better by the end of the week, since we are traveling to Cleveland for Christmas.

We tried feeding J.P. some green vegtables but as you can see he was not a big fan.

4 Month Checkup

J.P. had his 4 month checkup yesterday with Dr. Delucca. Our little man weighs in at 14 pounds 1 ounce and measures 25 1/2 inchs. We are constantly amazed at the new things he seems to be doing everyday. The doctor has encouraged us to try Barley Cereal. Our first attempt ended with more cereal on his face then in his mouth. We will try to post some pictures later on today.
On a sad note...the Cubs have been eliminated from the playoffs already. Maybe next year J.P.....

We had a great visit in Chicago, despite the 4 inches of water in Garvey's basement. On Sunday, J.P. met some his cousins for the first time. Kara stopped over with Connell, Maeve and Jillian for an early brunch. Later in the day Phillip and Jessica came over to visit.

First Stop Cleveland....

J.P. and I have been in Cleveland for the last week. We are headed to Chicago tomorrow to meet Michael and visit with Grandpa Jim and Grandma Mary. I promise we will post more pictures.....

2 Month Checkup

We went to the Pediatrician yesterday for J.P.'s 2 month checkup.
