The Phoenix Zoo

We took J.P. to the Phoenix Zoo on Saturday. J.P. seemed to like watching all the animals...in particular one Orangutan named Michael.

Baby Girl Garvey

19 weeks and counting..... Here are the fist pictures of Baby Girl Garvey. The ultrasound tech said she is very active like her older brother. J.P. Michael and I were overwhelmed during the ultrasound. Everything looks great and baby is very healthy!

Happy New Years!

Now that 2008 is over it sort of flew by... Didn't quite feel like that a few months back but with the birth of JP the year treated us really well. Should be another good year in 2009 and we have much to look forward to.

Mary Q's 2 week vacation is coming to a close, but she has had a nice break and JP loves having his mom around to take care of him. Hopefully next year, he'll have her home to watch him full time.

A few days shy of 7 month's, JP is really starting to make leaps and bounds in his development. Only a few weeks back, Mary was running errands and I was sitting on the floor with him and sat him up only to turn my eyes momentarily and have him tumble over and smack his head on the floor. Now he sits with no problem, is a proficient crawling and is pulling himself up to stand any chance he gets. The woman who watches him has often mentioned how active he is and with his new abilities she will have her hands full come Monday.

Some recent pictures of our baby(s)

In a Cavs hat? His mom thinks he will be rooting for Cleveland teams - Highly unlikely. He does look pretty good in a cap though.

Always a smile on his face, JP is overall is just a really happy baby.

Princess Gracie was treated very well by her Mom after we abandoned her for a week with our trip to Cleveland for Christmas.

Update from Beautiful Cleveland, OH

After a main course of doritos dipped in salsa, Izzy had ice cubes for dessert prior to opening her many gifts on Christmas Eve at the Quirarte's. We had a preview of JP's next Christmas and as far as I can tell we can probably wrap just about anything with a 1 and 1/2 year old getting more of a kick out of ripping off the paper than the actual gifts inside.

Mary met her friend's Meghan and Katie for breakfast and Cracker Barrel, and then took advantage of sales at the attached store to pick up a few deals. J.P. looked pretty good in one of her purchases, a Santa outfit.

Flu/Cold Season

The whole family has been battling the flu/cold this past week. As I am writing this Michael and J.P. are both sleeping. Hopefully everyone is better by the end of the week, since we are traveling to Cleveland for Christmas.
